A believer in hard work who craves for her client's love and appreciation. Preet, the name behind The PK Label looks forward to giving her best each and every day. In a conversation with us she shares about her love for Punjab and how her brand is completely connected to it. With a vision to dress the world in classy Indian wear, Preet started her brand by the name of The PK Label. Talking about her brand, she says, "The PK Label as its name says is a label which signifies my creativity and love for designing outfits. PK Label has vast variety of clothes and designs for every age and style of women, and it's not limited to certain people. I am bom and brought 1 up in Punjab and these are my roots. My connection with Punjab is of blood and soul. With Punjab being an integral part of herself and her brand, Preet can't think about shifting to another city because of her love for Punjab. When we asked her about what she would miss the most about Punjab if she moves to another place, she says, "well it is not easy to say about one thing as I live in Punjab and Punjab lives in me but the warmth and culture of Punjab is the most 1 will miss which is reflected in my outfits all the time." Every business whether it is small or big. requires some legal work which can be a challenge at times. This is a small-scale business run in houses by homemakers struggling to achieve their goals and cope with homes and work. In my opinion a lot of amendments are required for women- oriented business, like getting loans for small scale businesses should be made easy, which currently requires a lot of documentation and maintenance. Also, expensive high taxes are a challenge for us," she talks about how the government can make things easier for other small-scale women entrepreneurs like her. Every state has its own positives and negatives talking about where Punjab is lacing currently Preet exprsses her concem by saying. Punjab being prosperous state is still lacking in certain fields just as other states Youth plays an important role in any region but unfortunately youth of Punjab is more interested in migrating to other countries and more than half of the youth is gone and villages of Punjab seem abundant, and this affects the culture and heritage of Punjab as no one will be left to preserve it so in my opinion we should motivate the youth to stay in Punjab, work here and rise and shine here. Most importantly Punjab also lacks in textile industries" She believes in hard work and dedication and says that this is what will take her to her destination. We asked her about where she sees herself five years down the line. she says, "this question means a lot to me as my every day's hard work is a footstep towards that milestone I see myself rising and shining every day throughout my life and reaching at the top in my field but slowly and steadily." I got inspired by our rich culture and heritage. I wanted to dress women in beautiful outfits on important occasions of their lives and become the most visible fashion brand with my hard work. My Clients love and satisfaction in my work and my family's support helps in moving forward," she shares her vision when she started and what keeps her going every day. Everyone has their own definition of achievements and success Preet talks about what she counts as her greatest achievement and says, "well everyone who aspires to become successful in life and works hard towards it hopes for awards and rewards and loves appreciation. I am just working hard and harder to achieve my goals and every appreciation my achievement. The offers to buy my franchise and calls for interviews in magazines and the opening of my new studio all adds up to it." "My desperation of achieving success in my work and the support of my husband and the positive reviews of my clients inspire me a lot. The love and support of my husband keeps me grounded as I always know that I have his back in good or bad times of my life," she adds further. Describing Punjab in one line, she toncludes by saying, "It is the prosperous state filled with warmth and everything over the top.
